Neurodiversity

I am currently writing a book titled, “Celebrating Neurodiversity In Your School” that examines the cultural changes needed in the education sector to fully realise the aim of inclusion for neurodivergent and disabled children in mainstream schools.

Throughout my research, I have been interviewing neurodivergent educators, adults, parents of neurodivergent children and other people working in the field academically or in a supportive capacity.

I have also been collecting quotes from neurodivergent children, via their parents, answering the question, “I would like my teacher to know that…”

If you would like to participate in my research and/or your child is Autistic, Dyslexic, Dyspraxic or ADHD, then please contact me to discuss it further.

In October 2017, I undertook a project that I called ’30 Days of ADHD’ to raise awareness and promote acceptance during ADHD Awareness Month.

I posted an article each day of the month on my ‘Me And My ADHD‘ blog which is remains active and still attracts readers.
