Mini Threads- SEND

Planning services

Throughout August 2020, I am posting a series of mini threads on Twitter detailing common reasonable adjustments, and information that schools should be aware of in order to effectively support Neurodivergent and Disabled learners.

Every child and young person is individual and has unique support needs.

School staff should work in partnership with children and their parents to put strategies and adjustments in place that suit the child’s individual needs.

The ideas in these threads are not exhaustive & there have been many excellent contributions from other Twitter users on the original threads, which I recommend you read for further inspiration.

These threads can be used as a springboard for discussion or may help you identify further training needs.

The overall aim of this project is to make schools more accessible for Neurodivergent and Disabled learners.
